Premiere Pro: What’s the Best Crossfade?

Sure. We use crossfades every day for just about any kind of clip healing. We do the same thing for audio clips as well. But there’s more than one choice for crossfades in most Non Linear Editors. Do you know which crossfade to use?

Adobe’s Premiere Pro has the ability to give two distinct types of plugins. Both have their specific uses, and understanding which one to use at the right moment makes a big difference in the mix – especially when it comes to mixing music.

In this video, Mark shows us how to choose the two crossfades, and the differences between both. He also shows us when the best time to use each would be. This is in complete parallel from the Cinema Sound Education where Mark shows us how to do this in Adobe Audition.
