In the MZed Pro Membership Education we use the imager section of iZotope’s Ozone 7 extensively to create a giganticly wide stereo and surround field for anything from straight mono sources to stereo ones. But now that they’ve broken that functionality out into it’s own stand alone plugin, I strongly suggest you just download it and start using it. Free is dope.
